Celebrations
We gather as the 24/7 tribe several times a month, on the first, third and fifth Sundays. We call ourselves a tribe because we are one of the tribes of God that He has placed within this City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder. We have our own unique purpose in Christ, flavour, and mixture of people, and are made of up of many families or housechurches and ministries.
These corporate times are important to us. There is something special, something powerful, about God’s people coming together as one. We celebrate our oneness, many housechurches coming together as the 24/7 Community. In our busy city, it’s a great time to just hang out together and often it’s the only time we get to see others from various housechurches. Worship is a key element of these gatherings, and we desire to worship Him with song, word, prayer, scripture and exhortation, whatever He inspires us with.
Celebrations are also a chance for the leadership of 24/7 to bring direction, vision, and exhortation to the Community. We also use these meetings to encourage other gifted members to preach and minister, and hence reveal the more diverse aspects of the Body.
We meet on the first, third and fifth (when they happen) Sundays of each month at 10am, in the Ensemble Room of the Goldfields Arts Centre, on Cheetham Street, Kalgoorlie.
